Administrative Reporting

Churches, ministries, and nonprofit organizations are feeding large numbers of people in their communities through both food pantries and food distribution programs. While it’s a blessing to serve the community, it also presents the administrative challenge of collecting and organizing data for reporting to food and government agencies. These agencies often require a substantial amount of detailed information, such as:
  • Names and locations of the retail stores or suppliers that donated food.
  • Categories of the donated food, such as produce, dairy, meats, etc.
  • Temperatures of produce, meats, dairy, and other frozen products.
  • Weights of food pallets by category, such as produce, dairy, meats, etc.
  • Numbers of people and families provided with food.
  • Demographic information, such as race, ethnicity, and zip code of those served.
